This listing is an Antique Circa 1920 Winchester Repeating arms Brand Beehive Flattop Style Football Head Harness. The helmet is an oil treated canvas helmet, and it has a model #3236 on its back. Above the model number you can make out Winchester, although the name and model number are not easy to read. I show an image of a canvas (not oiled treated) Winchester helmet to show the same location of the maker and model number – the non oil treated canvas was model 3237 while the oil treated was 3236. This head harness is in the style know as a Harvard style flattop. This great antique helmet is in overall nice condition with intact very cleaning wool lining.
