Beehives are enclosed and protected from weather so in very good condition especially the red top hives which are made from Romanian pine and painted with castor oil and beeswax to protect hive from damp. Steel top hive are Italian and red top hives are Welsh bees which are hard working are hardier. I started nukes off with raw organic sugar with drops of essential oil, never feed sugar after.. Bees are healthy, doing well. Frames are British standard. Beehives are located in Carmarthen in a healthy environment away from industrial farming. Foundation used in frames are from Thorne and are British sources wax so the quality of everything in the hive is the best, the hives are well build, great condition, bees not feed sugar thats sprayed with roundup (only to start them off but organic raw cane sugar)… Hives receive no damp as they are enclosed but receive airflow.
