Get yourself a bargain and check out this amazing hive and all the extras which are included. Just add wax foundation and bees! This is a plastic insulated hive of Langstroth dimensions which is great for overwintering colonies whether large or small and for building up new colonies. The brood box can be run as two individual colonies if required. We’ve consolidated all our hives to National format so this one became surplus to requirements. This hive hadn’t been used for several years, and wax moth had destroyed any wax left in it. It has since had a thorough disinfection and all frames and other removal parts were soaked in recommended solutions. Any affected wooden parts were thoroughly scorched. 1 x Apimaye insulated hive. 1 x queen excluder. 1 x dividing board. Brood frames (clip together) 17. Super frames (clip together) 20. There should be 4 clips to each frame, not every frame has all four clips. Home made octopus style clearer board (this was dismantled before scorching).
