This is dual filament so it is for a running light and brake light, you can omit the wire for the brake like if you wish. This is also what is known as a bee hive or beehive style tail lamp. This is the “Type II” style. We sell a tail lamp harness for VL and RL models if you are adding a stoplamp switch to your ride. There may be some details an AMCA judge could pick apart but as a VL owner ourselves, this is one we run on our own bike. This is the style used prior to the tail lamp shroud being added to the rear fenders in 1934. Fits the following models. 45 solo flat head. 74 big twin flat head or side valve.
