Artek A331 Beehive Pendant Lamp – White and Brass. Originally designed for the University of Jyväskylä in Finland in 1953, the Beehive is one of Alvar Aaltos most popular lighting designs. Inspired by the beautifully layered structure of a bee’s nest, the sculptural, organic form of the light creates a defining hanging pendant. The elegantly curved tiers are separated by perforated metal rings, allowing for a golden-toned illumination to be created. Light is directed in a masterly way only where needed, creating a soft, pleasant twilight. Suitable for both in the home and public spaces, the Beehive can be employed individually or in a bold cluster; creating a striking effect even when unlit. A Beautiful Full National Bee Hive. If you would like for a Xmas present. We are going away for Christmas so my last sending date. Is Monday 14th December please order in advance. We love our garden as well as our bees and believe a bee hive should be part of the garden furniture and nice to look at. Most hive are just wooden boxes and do nothing for the look of your garden. So I built my hives so that when friends and family visit it adds to the experience if I show them my bees in a special hive. I have been keeping bees for years and I have always built my own bee hives and as Uncle Albert from Only Fools and Horses might say During the Lockdown I built several more to keep me busy during lockdown. My hives proved quite popular and after I stopped making them I still had enquires asking when I would make them again. Well, now with another lockdown pending here I go again. I always thought about making a Christmas batch and will probably keep going this time. Have a Question or want to add to your order? Our hives are partly built with only the roof being flat packed. The hives are built from 19mm hardwood external ply and painted in Cuprinal Garden colours and are screwed together. This is a complete valve spring kit for the Mitsubishi 2.6L G54B engine. Cutting edge conical or “beehive” design greatly reduces spring harmonics, a leading cause of spring failure. The small upper diameter reduces valve train weight and allows the use of a smaller, lighter retainer. Beehive springs allow you to run higher RPM and more aggressive cam profiles while providing spring pressures that don’t destroy your valve train. 940 diameter chromoly steel retainers offer great strength and weight savings without the longevity issues of titanium components. Ideal for high performance normally aspirated and high boost turbocharged applications. These do not require any modification to the head and use the stock spring shims. Good for cams up to. SPRING SPECS: Seated pressures 80lbs. Early adjustable tappet engines use a square groove type and later hydraulic lifter models use a round groove type.
