Texas Speed (TSP) Stage 3 Low Lift Truck Cam – 216/220. Texas Speed and Performance’s Stage 3 Low Lift truck cam is an excellent choice for Silverado/Sierra truck owners looking for a cam that will provide power gains and a mild idle while still remaining daily-driver friendly. Designed specifically for 4.8L/5.3L/6.0L combinations. The 112 Lobe Separation Angle (LSA) is standard. However, 111, 113, or 114 LSAs are available by request. Optional Spring Kit Includes. GM LS6 Single Beehive Valve Springs, Set of 16, #28-12499224. Optional Install Kit Includes. GM Harmonic Balancer Bolt. These camshafts have a 3-bolt timing gear pattern. This camshaft package is specifically for the Texas Speed low lift truck camshafts that can use the GM LS6 single beehive valve springs. You will not find a better price on a cam package than this one! Very economical with respectable horsepower and torque gains, and these camshafts will not be overly radical. Stage 2 and 3 cams may require custom tuning. Stage 1 cam may not require custom tuning, but it is recommended for optimal power and driving characteristics. You can see the power gains below (measured at crank) for each of our camshafts over a factory 5.3L camshaft that we tested on our in-house SuperFlow 902 engine dyno. Stage 1 208/214: +45.1 HP & +21.5 TQ. Stage 2 212/218: +51.4 HP & 22.9 TQ. Stage 3 216/220: +53.4 HP & 22.0 TQ. Keep in mind that these gains are compared at the peak HP and TQ numbers. This long hive demonstrates ultimate flexibility to meet the needs of the bees as well as the beekeeper, hence the name. Made from best quality Baltic Birch faced plywood the hive is strong and affordable but perfectly able to cope with weather conditions once treated on the outside. It is built with adjustable legs which makes it an ideal height for inspections to suit the height of the beekeepers, including those in wheelchairs. If people have limited lifting abilities the roof opens with soft close piston support and the bee pheromone and heat is kept within the hive due to optional top bar design. The critical unique feature is the adaptability of this hive. It is a long hive enabling horizontal growth with a moveable divider board. You can use conventional deep brood frames or standard National frames and put the floor where you want it. A feeder or National / WBC super can fit nicely on top so you dont have to worry about your hive equipment adapting to it. A significant optional feature is a floor sump to encourage a bio-symbiotic ecosystem with other bugs supporting the bees cleanliness. Finally the slotting together peg system allows insulation to be added to the outsides to maintain temperature, which is proven to be beneficial for colony survival and varroa management.
