The cabinet features five very clean drawers; the top one has two metal pull handles, while the other four have recessed handles running discreetly under the drawer fronts. Known as a “bee hive chest, ” each drawer has a slightly sloped front, giving it a beehive appearance. The chest stands on four tapered legs with gold finial end caps. Made by Avalon Yatton, it bears their maker’s label, though the ink has rubbed off. Points of condition to note: Natural signs of use. The finish of the drawer fronts has faded in places and a few small indents. Small chip to the wood on the bottom drawer, shown in photo eight. This is in rock solid condition, and has been freshly cleaned and polished and is ready for use. Manchester – Liverpool – Leeds – Birmingham – London. Deliveries are generally by one person, if your item is large or very heavy, and you are not able to help unload there may be a surcharge to cover driver’s assistance. Vintage Avalon yatton beehive style bank of 4 draws. Mid century modern look and style. Smaller draw at top and three larger. Handle along rim of draw great styling. In very good condition for age and use – although a few small flaws – veneer is very slightly worn in places some small scuffs and some nails pin head can be seen on sides and usual wear.
