Antique Victorian Etched Beehive Glass Oil Lamp Globe / Shade, 4 fitter Wreaths. A beehive shave with a deep etched pattern of wreaths and ribbons around the globe. To fit 4 shade supports/galleries. I believe it will date to the late 19th or early 20th century. I have included a number of photos and these probably describe the item better than I can and form part of the description. Condition: In a reasonable used condition, there is what looks like a chip to the underside of the top rim but I think it may well be a large air bubble that is on the under surface of the shade. There are also a number of other small chips to the under side of the top rim along with typical nibbles and small chips to the fitter. The odd decorating paint spot. Typical manufacturing irregularities including quite a few air bubbles. Please also see photos. Size: 98mm (4) fitter external, 94mm internal. 16.7cm high, approx 18.3cm widest diameter, Top opening 79mm.
