We built many honey hives over my childhood and young adult years. I never really liked taking honey from the beehives but this was necessary in. More so in communist times. I started reading articles about the decline in all types of bees throughout the world; this brought me with the pushing of friends to make natural beehives which are not harvested for honey. The more natural the hive the more chance the bees have to survive freely without human interaction, so that is where we are dozens of natural beehives later.
