Groups of 2 frames are separated by removable plywood dividers. Frames are standard Langstroth brood frames and are supplied assembled but without wire or foundation. Good ventilation is maintained throughout the hive with mesh-covered vents in the base and in the Australian-style roof which fits neatly over the feeder. Our beehives are manufactured in small factories in Greece using sustainably sourced pine from Austria and the Czech Republic. We supply these hives as they come from the factory, and they will need some minor preparation (filling and sanding) before painting or varnishing. They are made to be functional rather than decorative, though with very little work a perfect finish can be obtained. We believe that the quality of materials used is most important. Please look carefully at our photos as these are typical of the hive you will receive. Langstroth hives are by far the most popular standard around the world and the simplest to construct. They are therefore the perfect choice for beginners and experienced beekeepers alike. Large stocks always available.

Our Langstroth 10-frame beehives are fully assembled and come with a varroa mesh floor, reversible door, an Australian-style roof, and each of our brood/deep super bodies come supplied with 10 assembled frames (Note that none of our frames come with wiring or foundation).
