Offered for sale a colony of Honey Bees complete with British National Hive. Hive comprises of Swienty Poly floor with removable tray, National wood brood box, dummy board and eleven frames, frames drawn and at the time of photo (6 days ago) eight frames had brood. Crown board and roof, roof is wood and metal again as shown. Queen is 2021 and marked white and is shown in the photo. She is the result of a split made earlier this year and is the grand daughter of a Ged Marshall Queen. So far the colony appears placid and hard working, I would be disappointed if having kept them they showed intention to swarm or did not fill at least three supers next year. This is obviously dependent on over wintering and the purchasers bee keeping skills. Collect from Loughborough (LE11 2BF), minimum of 24 hour notice required as I will need to shut them in and seal the entrance the previous night, I can deliver if a short distance (up to 20 miles) or agreed cost If further.
