This hive stand has been made in England in our small beekeeping workshop. It is made from good quality pine timber and has great durability. The dimensions are: 1150 mm x 460 mm x 450 mm. This hive stand has been tested over 10 years and developed to this final product. It has been mainly used in our own apiaries and recently has been also tested by fellow beekeepers. We have used strong screws (5 x 100 mm and 5 x 80 mm) which results in strong fixing.

This is very rare to have a double beehive shaped preserve pots with bee finials on a twig shaped stand. The bee finials are brass and the only damage to the glass is a few very small nibbles to the left pot where the spoon sits. The right pot has no damage. The stand on each pot should have 4 leaves as holders on each side but, only have 3 each intact. Minor damage considering the age and rarity.

This National Double Beehive Stand is made by the dancing Bees in the United Kingdom. It is designed for two hives and comes as a single unit. Fabricated from treated construction grade 3×2 timber that will stand the test of time and the heaviest yields year after year. Years of research have led to the addition of the lower leg brace. This enables easy opening and collapsing of the stand and eradicates the twisting and straining of the joints caused from trying to open legs individually. In turn leading to a significantly prolonged life span of this heavy duty stand. Working alongside a local joinery company has led us to realise that rebated joints don’t strengthen but infact provide potential fracture points and weakness in this particular utilisation. So it’s straight cut butt joints all round and 100mm and 80mm exterior screws. Bigger is definitely better when it’s responsible for holding your precious bees and honey The stand dimensions are 115cm long, 46 cm wide and 30cm tall.
