A brass Arts and Crafts beehive-shaped tea kettle with an overall hammered design, and a distinctive motif on either side. It has an unusual loop handle and is a very pleasing display item. A well made piece in nice condition. It has, at some point, had the original knob refixed -see pics. It also has a few dents which I’ve tried to show in the photos. None of this detracts the from the way it looks on display. It’s visually quite impressive. Measures approximately 19cm high x 29cm spout tip to handle outer.

AMAZING AND VERY RARE OLD REVERE BEE HIVE TEA POT WITH BIRD WHISTLE!! WE ARE TOLD IT IS FROM THE 1920s-30s TIME PERIOD, BUT THERE IS NO DATE ON BOTTOM. IT IS IN SURPRISINGLY GREAT SHAPE FOR IT’S AGE, BODY HAS ONLY A COUPLE OF DENTS (SEE ALL PHOTOS). THE BIRD WHISTLE AND HANDLE APPEAR TO BE BAKELITE. WE COULD NOT GET THE BIRD WHISTLE TO WHISTLE ON A GAS STOVE TOP, NOT SURE WHY. IT IS 7″ TALL TO TOP OF HANDLE AND 7″ IN DIAMETER. BOTTOM IS STURDY AND SITS FLAT ON STOVE.
