It is a beehive pattern cigar lighter lamp shade. It is hand blown and has no mold lines. The shade is reversable and also fits the standard 2 inch miniature ball shade holder. The shade is 2 7/8″ wide at the widest point 2 5/8″ tall and has a 1 15/16″ flared cigar lamp shade fitter on one side and a 2″ strate fitter on the other side. Any questions feel free to message. Only used for a couple of months and since stored dry and safe. A Polystyrene (Poly) hives offer exceptional thermal performance and durability whilst maintaining an ergonomic design. This means a higher honey production compared to wooden hives, but with minimal weight. These types of polystyrene hive do not use crown boards, instead have an in built feeding system for fondant so that you don’t need an eke. Langstroth roof – Painted in Green. Langstroth floor and varroa mesh – Painted green. 1 full depth Body. Full width rapid feeder. This is probably the most technically advanced hive currently available in the UK. Nice Vintage Aladdin Red “Bee Hive” Kerosene Lamp. Harder to find shape in a red color that when held up to the light has shades of yellow in it. I’ve always called it Pidgeon’s Blood but looks like some use Amberina. It doesn’t show well in the pictures and is actually a little lighter than the pictures show. Great condition with no chips or cracks, with a good filler cap and burner threads. The metal pieces have ageing and discoloration. From a recent estate it is freshly washed but not perfectly clean. It has been used in the past and has some staining in the bottom. It measures 8 3/4 inches tall, 6 1/4 inches at the widest, and 6 1/4 inches across the base. Here we have a tough to find and very originally pretty R. Torrey Bangor Maine, Inventor of the Maine State Bee Hive! He is the only cwt issuer in the whole state of Maine! NGC blew it Big Time, and graded this MS64 Brown: it has it’s “original skin” never (and I stress Never) having been cleaned, “MS70ed”, brushed etc. Luster is semi-pl bright and all over the place, under original polychrome greens, blues, golds, rose etc. Peek-a-boo Original Mint Red is evident on both sides… It’s didn’t “64” because of marks-NGC just does not appreciate Originality… It’s a VERY nice token! Is Monday 14th December please order in advance. We love our garden as well as our bees and believe a bee hive should be part of the garden furniture and nice to look at. Most hive are just wooden boxes and do nothing for the look of your garden. So I built my hives so that when friends and family visit it adds to the experience if I show them my bees in a special hive. I have been keeping bees for years and I have always built my own bee hives and as Uncle Albert from Only Fools and Horses might say During the Lockdown I built several more to keep me busy during lockdown. My hives proved quite popular and after I stopped making them I still had enquires asking when I would make them again. Well, now with another lockdown pending here I go again. I always thought about making a Christmas batch and will probably keep going this time. Have a Question or want to add to your order? Our hives are partly built with only the roof being flat packed. The hives are built from 19mm hardwood external ply and painted in Cuprinal Garden colours and are screwed together. This Kit includes the frames and foundation. These need to be built and are flat packed because they are too delicate when to send when they are complete. Full instructions with photos are included. In the box you will receive. · Brood Box x 1- Including frames. · Super Box x 2. Hive tools, Beekeepers Suit, Gloves and Smoker too. · Complete set of assembly instructions that includes step by step photos. NOTE: In this order you will not receive glue, nails, bees or frames. Our Bee hives are built in Tattershall, Lincolnshire and our customers are more than welcome to collect. All items made to order and generally take a week to arrive although in busy periods this may be longer. If you needs a hive urgently or have any questions please call me on. Both carriers charge us so much extra so we have to pass the extra cost on.
