A new flat packed or fully assembeld National Beehive made from pine wood. Varroa Floor (including mesh) with slide out inspection tray (fully assembled). Brood Box x 1 (flat packed). Super Box x 1 (flat packed). Crown board with centre hole. Roof with metal cover (fully assembled). We do offer a fully assembled option, see above option. Simply take out the box and assemble. The order of assembly for the hive (from the bottom up) is: The floor with bee entrance, brood box, super box, crown board and then the roof. Tools required for flat pack assembly: Wood Glue (optional, but recommended), drill with small wood bit and a hammer. Paint/treat the hive before use to prolong durability. DO NOT paint the inside of the hive, the bees won’t like the smell. Try to face the hive south, this is the preferred direction for bees, but not essential. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be sent on Monday. We normally will reply within 24hr of a message being received. Office hours 9.00a.
