This is for 8 Vintage Antique Royal Vienna Beehive Mark Demitasse Cup + Saucers. Cups are approximately 2-1/8 in. Tall and 2-1/4 in. Across at top not counting handle; saucers are 4-5/8 in. There are no crazing, chips or cracks, except for one cup which is chipped and cracked, see also picture. There are two extra saucers. International costs to be determined. Please ask for quote. Two 1900s Ackermann & Fritze Royal Vienna Beehive Porcelain Sets

Two 1900s Ackermann & Fritze Volkstedt Royal Vienna style porcelain Cup and Saucer matched set. Beehive/Shield with gilt painted number (4) identifying the painter on each piece. Beautiful hand painted sky-floating heavenly Cherub angels shown with rose flowered wreaths and cherubs holding flower baskets, one with bow and arrow another with sparkling red torches and one holding a staff and dove. The sets are painted in a soft turquoise color with gold damask accents. Gilt handles and rims. Ackermann and Fritze was established in Rudolstadt-Volkstedt Germany in 1908, manufacturing fine luxury porcelain. There are several marks on the bottom of these lovely pieces. Each piece has been numbered with number 4 painted in gilt. Numbers were added to the the undersides to ensure painters responsible for the piece(s) were paid for the right pieces. Saucers show several impressed letters and numbers. “Moulders and turners were assigned numbers from 0-60″. The number 15 can be seen impressed on a saucer. Other impressed marks would indicate internal company marks and information possibly plant location? Of which I could not determine. Visible company impressions are marked on one saucer in the set — K, 471, and 1, along with moulder/turner’s number 15. All four pieces are marked with painter’s number 4. Cups measure 3-3/4″ wide, 2″ tall. This Royal Vienna porcelain set is in beautiful excellent condition. No cracks or crazing. A slight chip on one saucer rim as shown in last picture. Requests have been made to separate this set of 4 into two separate sets of 2 pieces each. One saucer contains all the important Ackermann & Fritze Royal Vienna markings (factory, location, turner, more) of the porcelain’s origin. If separated, one of the two cup & saucer sets contains the very most important part of the Royal Vienna set… One saucer in the 4-piece matched set contains the embedded. Provenance of the set. For this reason I feel it is important to keep the set together as not to lose provenance in one set. Welcome to Antiques & Moore! This listing is for a lovely antique Royal Vienna “Beehive” marked Art Nouveau porcelain gilt decorated enameled portrait vase. This gorgeous vase has a decorative “squared” body with a gilded column at each corner holding a large red urn shaped object at the top molded in relief. One side has a beautiful hand painted draped female wearing a tiara having a hand maiden at one side and a draped nude young female on the other. The portraits have a gold softly beaded textured background. The other three sides have an undecorated gilt encircled ivory ground. The shoulder area of the vase and the area just above the base are painted pink with gilt incised lines and both the neck and foot ring is also gilded. The details in the enameled portrait are colorful and well painted. The vase is marked with the famous Royal Vienna “beehive” stamp, a gold painted circle and is hand signed “Dez Morgen”. This lovely vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There is some very faint no-harm spots on the gilded columns that are hardly noticeable but called for accuracy. Measures 5 1/2″ high with a maximum width of 3 1/4″. The top opening measures 1 5/8 and the base is 1 7/8 in diameter. Antique Porcelain German Beer Stein Royal Vienna Beehive Mark Rinaldo and Armida signed Kaufmann c. Description: Beautiful highly decorated porcelain beer stein depicting several scenes on ancient subjects. The decorations are beautifully hand-painted, very intensively gilt and has some enamel relief elements. The lid is made of brass mounts with porcelain incert that is also hand-painted on the inside and outside. I think the theme of the painting is a scene from the epic poem “Gerusalemme liberata” by Torquato Tasso. It tells the story of Rinaldo and Armida. In this poem Rinaldo is a fierce and determined warrior who is also honorable and handsome. Armida has been sent to stop the Christians from completing their mission and is about to murder the sleeping soldier, but instead she falls in love. She creates an enchanted garden where she holds him a lovesick prisoner. Overall – a fantastically decorated piece – a one of a kind treasure. The steins of this kind are usually called “Royal Vienna” style. Even though the original “Imperial and Royal Vienna Porcelain Factory” was closed in 1864. Some of the smaller factories in Austria were given their molds and employed their artists. They continue to use the Bindenschild mark. The Bindenschild mark is often called “Beehive” because when turned upside down it resemples the beehive. However, this is a German heraldic element, a shield taken from the Coat-of-Arms of Austrian Hapsburg family. The decoration is signed “Kaufmann”. This is the signature for Angelika Kaufmann, an artist who seemed to have worked for several factories that made items in Royal Vienna style in 1870s-1900. The brass mounts – the hindge and the thumblift – indicate that the stein was made in early 1870s even though traditionally these steins are dated as ” around 1900″. Some very similar steins are featured on pages 129-131 0f “The Beer Stein Book” by Gary Kirsner. It looks like the inlay of the lid was repaired at some point. The repairs were done very professionally and are very hard to determine. The body of the stein is in excellent flawless condition, there is some wear to the gold on the handle, but no damage, lines or repairs of any kind. It is 6.5 tall to the top of the thumblift, 0.5L capacity. Condition: Body excellent, inlay repaired. Maker: Royal Vienna type. Height: 6.5 in. Get images that make Supersized seem small. 15 Piece Antique Royal Vienna style porcelain tea/coffee set. Beautiful sky blue with gilded trim and romantic scenes. 6 demitasse cups & saucers (cups 2″tall & saucers 3-3/4″diameter), creamer (6″tall), sugar bowl (3″tall) and tray (13 handle to handle). All pieces have Royal Vienna beehive/shield marks on the bases. The marks on the creamer and sugar are under the glaze and the others are on top of the glaze. 3 of the cups are damaged, one handle broken off (clean break), one chip on the top rim of a cup and one touch up of the gold trim with a very fine hairline crack (see last photo). There is also light wearing of the gold trim on one handle of the tray. Although a few pieces are not in perfect condition, the set remains antique gorgeous. This set is estate sale acquired and came with its original presentation wood box. The box is in very poor condition and is only shown in photos to indicate the set is old and has been stored for many years. The box will not be included with the sale unless you specify that you would like to have it.
