This is very rare to have a double beehive shaped preserve pots with bee finials on a twig shaped stand. The bee finials are brass and the only damage to the glass is a few very small nibbles to the left pot where the spoon sits. The right pot has no damage. The stand on each pot should have 4 leaves as holders on each side but, only have 3 each intact. Minor damage considering the age and rarity.

This damage prone style insulator is in very nice overall condition. The areas of interest are contained to the base of the insulator. There is a matchhead size flake on one of the ribs. The inner skirt is also threaded and there is a little roughness around the pin hole. Most likely from manufacturing process. Please use pictures to help with description.

Antique cranberry acid etched beehive shaped oil lamp shade. Shade fitter is 10cms. Approx height is 17.5cms. Approx width is 18.5 cms. In very good condition with no chips, cracks or restoration. As you would expect it has a few nibbles around the fitter rim commensurate with age and use. There is a tiny trapped air bubble, which has occurred during the manufacture and again which I show in close up in my photo’s and describe for total accuracy.

A brass Arts and Crafts beehive-shaped tea kettle with an overall hammered design, and a distinctive motif on either side. It has an unusual loop handle and is a very pleasing display item. A well made piece in nice condition. It has, at some point, had the original knob refixed -see pics. It also has a few dents which I’ve tried to show in the photos. None of this detracts the from the way it looks on display. It’s visually quite impressive. Measures approximately 19cm high x 29cm spout tip to handle outer.

Very unusual vintage canteen of cutlery – find another to match this one!! Canteen is maybe best described as beehive or chalet shaped – of oak. Firth stainless of Sheffield. Serves 6 and all complete less one of the very large spoons which we think are probably serving spoons. Oak box is in excellent condition other than an historic repair – see photo – where damage was made strong again with screw and presumably glue. Interior just has age related marks to lining but otherwise again very good/excellent for age. This was retailed in Liverpool by a lovely shop called Bunney’s which closed in 1956. We think this was probably bought as a wedding present circa 1940’s. ANTIQUE OPALINE WHITE GLASS BEEHIVE SHAPED PENDANT LIGHT. A delightful light in a most unusual shape. The opaline glass has been formed into a beehive shape with a graduated ring design. This light dates back to the early Art Deco period and has an aged brass gallery. White opaline glass is opaque and gives off a wonderful even glow when lit. Size overall height 38cm from bottom of shade to top of gallery hook. This light will be wired with 1 metre of dark brown antique style braided flex.
