This is a complete racing valve train for the SOHC Honda CB750F2 1978 (black engine). Developed for road racing and hot street use, this kit comes with everything needed to do a complete performance rebuild to the cylinder head. We have also adopted a modern beehive valve spring design which results in reduced spring harmonics and includes titanium retainers for incredible weight savings. This kit contains the following: Valves: Standard size intake and exhaust. EV-8 grade stainless steel construction for extreme temperatures. Swirl polished with a radiused margin for maximum flow. Hard chromed stems for superior wear resistance. Guides: Nickel bronze alloy (Ampco 45) resists wear and galling. Superior heat conductivity to reduce valve temperatures. Valve seals: High temperature metal clad viton construction containing 5% teflon for improved wear characteristics. Valve springs: Beehive design. Light weight, reduced spring harmonics and the reliability needed for all out racing. Retainers: Aviation grade titanium. Keepers: Radius groove “top lock” design, the most reliable keeper type available. Hardened lash caps: Provides a hard wear surface for the tips of the valves.
