2 X National Bee Hives, Including Accessories
I have a pair of National Bee Hives each measuring 31 inches high, 20 inches wide and 20 inches deep (20x 20 is the lid size). Included in the sale is a bee keepers suit xl with hood, gloves, smoker and brush. Each hive has the larger wax sheets and the smaller ones also. Most of the smaller wax sheets need replacing. The larger wax sheets are mostly okay, just one or two have a couple of holes in. Structurally, the sections are good or as new, requiring in places a bit of TLC. The base sections (the thin plywood sheets) as shown in the photos will need replacing. I’ve kept everything together so the parts that need replacing can be used as a template for a DIY replacement. I think the hives are made of some kind of cedar wood. Circumstances at home have resulted in these hives not being used and they have become just a covered up garden ornament for spiders and the like. Pretty much the photos show everything needed. The bee suit and gloves will need cleaning (although having never been used). Any questions please ask and I’ll do my best to answer them.
