Our beehives are manufactured in small factories in Greece using sustainably sourced pine from Austria and the Czech Republic. Solid floor made from tongue and groove boards. We supply these hives as they come from the factory, and they will need some minor preparation (filling and sanding) before painting or varnishing. They are made to be functional rather than decorative, though with very little work a perfect finish can be obtained. We believe that the quality of materials used is most important.
