Antique Salt Glaze Stoneware Beehive Pottery Jug. Wonderful Antique Stoneware Jug with a salt glaze. This piece has a handmade handle and a raised lip around the rim. The glaze creates a great speckled Gray and Brown color. This piece is in good condition for it’s age, but does have 1 crack starting on the bottom up the sides about 2/3 of the way (see Photos). This does not detract from the look of the crock as it is hard to see. It also has a small chip on the rim(see Photos). The Jug is marked with the letter A on the side. The size is 12″ in height and measures 7″ across the base. The rim is 2″ and the opening is 1 1/4″. It would make a lovely addition to your collection of antique stoneware. ANTIQUE SETH THOMAS 8-DAY SPRING CLOCK + KEY Mahogany Wood Beehive Shelf Mantel. Very nice antique 8-Day Spring clock made by Seth Thomas in the United States. Made from a beautiful dark hardwood, likely mahogany, and features a beehive shape with rounded corners. Black roman numerals against a bone-white metal face. Measures approximately 15″ tall x 10 3/4″ wide x 4 deep. Age-appropriate wear, dust and dirt. Some of the paint on the face is chipping. The clock is currently NOT keeping time, it ticks and chimes (really lovely sound) when moved around then stops after a few moments. We’ve decided not to take the back off and leave as-is, but safe to assume that it needs cleaning and servicing. A fantastic project piece, or even just to add to your collection as-is! A late 19th or early 20th century oil lamp in wonderful condition. The brass base and stem is of an unusual design with the matching design to the cut glass font. The font is in excellent condition with no chips or scratches. The burner is also in great condition with the winders and dampers working as they should. The acid etched shade has a wonderful floral design and is excellent condition with only one flake at the fitter rim which is not visible when the shade is sitting on the gallery. The shade has a 4-inch fitter rim. The oval bulge chimney is in great condition with no chips or scratches. The lamp stands 40cm tall to the top of the burner with a maximum diameter at the base of 18cm. When the chimney is fitted, it stands 61cm tall. If you have any questions, please get in touch. There is a “6” marking above this we believe for 6 gallons. The crock is very heavy weighing over 23 pounds. Comes from a local estate! A GREAT looking piece to display! Size and Makeup : approx. 14 tall and about 12 1/2 in diameter. Condition : There is some white residue on the inside of the crock. There is some chipping under one ear (see photo). Measures approximately 14-3/4″ tall and 10″ wide at base. Made by Seth Thomas. Clock has been running for a few days at listing time. Appears to be within a couple minute or so per day. Westminster chime sounds a little slow but rings every 15 mins as designed. Chime does need to be adjusted, as it chimes at 5-10 minutes after it is supposed to. Hours chime at top of hour usually. Will miss a chime sequence occasionally. Clock finish shows age but no visible damage or repairs noted. It’s old, and needs to be professionally serviced. Many service markings on the clock, so I’m thinking it was well taken care of over the past 100+ years. Make sur e to “Watch” this item as we occasionally send out great offers.
