This listing is for a complete jacket and hat set for a Langstroth hive with an APEX roof. The set will consist of. 1 x Hive Jacket. 2 x Thermal Roof Pads. 1 x waterproof Hive Hat with brass breather inserts. The Jacket will cover a standard Brood Box and 2 Supers. The Jacket is 190 cm x 58 cm. The Hat will fit a standard flat roof 46 cm x 55 cm external 46 cm x 38.5 cm internal. Please see our other listing for the apex roof version. Hive Hats have be fitted very carefully, most hives have very sharp corners!!!!!! You will only receive the hive jacket, hive hat, thermal hive pads, the bee hive and ratchet strap are not included. Born from the struggles of coping with the adverse weather here in Wales, 5 minutes from the coastline of the Irish sea, we are faced with strong winds/rain and fluctuations in temperature, this has proven to be very problematic, creating a damp environment for the bees.
