Known as a “bee hive chest, ” each drawer has a slightly sloped front, giving it a beehive appearance. The chest stands on four tapered legs with gold finial end caps. Made by Avalon Yatton, it bears their maker’s label, though the ink has rubbed off. Points of condition to note: Natural signs of use. The finish of the drawer fronts has faded in places and a few small indents. Small chip to the wood on the bottom drawer, shown in photo eight.
