They are all the same age, five or six years, and in the same quite good condition. They have recently been given an external top-up coat of decking oil and they have been sterilized internally by scorching. The supers are in very good condition because they have always been stored indoors over winter. Each hive consists of:- Hive stand with landing board made from treated pine. A cedar National 14×12 deep brood box with stainless steel runners. Wood framed stainless steel queen excluder. Two cedar National supers with 10 frame castelation spacers.
