Langstroth 10 Frame Beehive 1 Brood Box & 1 Shallow Super Customisable
Our beehives are manufactured in small factories in Greece using sustainably sourced pine from Austria and the Czech Republic. Our deep super/brood box and shallow supers feature metal frame rails and hand holds for all four sides. Comes with an Australian-style roof with 4 mesh-covered ventilation slots and galvanised steel covering. Made for Langstroth 10-frame beehives, b. Oth plastic and metal excluders are 42cm x 50cm. Metal excluder is high quality and constructed with galvanised steel and wire. Constructed from plywood and pine. Has a large mesh covered area to ensure ventilation and to observe the colony without disturbance. Its in the roof space covering the whole top of the hive, whilst still retaining plenty of ventilation. Made from thick ABS plastic, it is also an excellent insulator. High quality crown board for 10 frame beehives. Hoffman style with chamfered edges to minimise surface to surface contact, so easier to separate in the hive. Top bar grooved for the foundation. Top quality materials and construction. Flat Packed: Require assembling and wiring, 4 holes drilled each side for the wire. Assembled: Assembled without wiring or foundation. Budget: Fully assembled and wired with budget foundation. Premium: Fully assembled and wired with premium foundation, certified 100% beeswax. Frames wired with high-tensile No. 25 0.55mm dia. Brass eyelets fitted to prevent wire cutting into the frame and maintain wire tension. Our high quality floors come solid or ventilated so humidity and temperature can be maintained throughout the hive. We supply these hives as they come from the factory, and they will need some minor preparation (filling and sanding) before painting or varnishing. They are made to be functional rather than decorative, though with very little work a perfect finish can be obtained. We believe that the quality of materials used is most important. Langstroth Beehive 4 Section Breeding Hive Assembled with frames and Feeder
Fully assembled Langstroth breeding hive with four sections for four separate 2-frame colonies, each with its own closable entrance and separate access to a shared top feeder. Groups of 2 frames are separated by removable plywood dividers. Frames are standard Langstroth brood frames and are supplied assembled but without wire or foundation. Good ventilation is maintained throughout the hive with mesh-covered vents in the base and in the Australian-style roof which fits neatly over the feeder.
