Our beehives are manufactured in small factories in Greece using sustainably sourced pine from Austria and the Czech Republic. Floor with varroa mesh for mite control and ventilation, and a pull out drawer. Reversible door that can close the hive for moving or provide a good-sized entrance. Three brood / deep super boxes featuring metal frame rails and hand holds on all four sides. Adding a queen excluder (not included) will enable one more of these to be used as supers. 30 assembled frames (no foundation or wire). Australian style roof with 4 mesh-covered ventilation slots and galvanised steel covering. We supply these hives as they come from the factory, and they will need some minor preparation (filling and sanding) before painting or varnishing. They are made to be functional rather than decorative, though with very little work a perfect finish can be obtained. We believe that the quality of materials used is most important.
