National hive hand made from quality pine in our workshop in Hampshire consists of a stand with landing board about 300mm (legs are NOT assembled on stand for transport reasons screws and instructions included) high, mesh floor, 2 brood box, 2 supers, crown board and roof with a galvernised tin roof, comes completely assembled for immediate use, all joints are rebaited glued and screwed and finished with 2 coats of stain on outside only. This is the set up I use as it gives 2 brood for the bees to expand in with less likely hood of swarming and also 2 supers to lay the honey.
