Help save the bees!! Initiative B Box home beehive with genius 2m chimney entrance so the hive can be on you balcony or in the garden without risk of being stung. Has perspex viewing windows with removal panels so you can see the bees at work with no risk of being strung. Has a top honeycomb area for when the bees produce more than the hive need. This is easily extracted by turning on the one way valve and waiting for all the bees to leave the area. Then you can get to the spare honey and leave the colony with the food they need. And I have lovingly primed and painted it in ronseal weatherproof white paint. All you need is to oder the bees and put the frames in when they all arrive. I also have 2 great books and a smoker available too. I went on a beekeeping course and decided that it is not for me so the hive is as new but better as assembled and painted for you. Urban beehive by Beeing. Fully assembled and ready to use. Includes 10 Langstroth frames with wired foundation (2 are briefly used). This hive uses a chimney for the entrance so the bees enter and leave above head height. Unique system for collecting honey safely with no need for specialist equipment; small combs are removed as required while bees are excluded from the supers. Side panels of brood box are removable allowing observation of bees behind Perspex. Brood box is of Dadant size and is compatible with Langstroth Frames. Extra Dadant supers can be added. Painted with two coats of Cuprinol. I bought this for my garden but family are too scared of bees. Full height with chimney is 2170mm.
