They were very popular with Victorian home owners with a love of fine detail, and are a faithful copy of the original. They are sure to enhance your doors and add to the elegance of your home. As you can see from our photographs, our door knobs are of TOP QUALITY. Manufactured to the highest quality from Solid Brass and comes with separate Solid Brass Rose Plates, Antiqued to match the knobs and with three fixing holes for extra strength unlike some available which only have two!!! They have been Antiqued by hand to give an aged appearance and they have not been lacquered (unlike the more expensive mass produced ones found in DIY stores). So the brass will continue to age naturally forming a beautiful radiance. Grub screws, brass fixing screws and spindle included. The grub screws are steel which are located in the brass collar which ensures extra longevity. The spindle is threaded either end. This is known as “The Pitts Mortice System”. Our door knobs are suitable for both mortice or rim locks. IT HAS BEEN RECENTLY REWIRED WITH A NEW 1156 SIZE SOCKET AND HAS A NEW LOW DRAW LED BULB INSTALLED AND IS READY TO MOUNT AND USE, THIS IS ONE OF THE MOST COMMON BULB SOCKETS AND YOU CAN EASILY REPLACE THE LED BULB FOR A MORE TRADITIONAL INCANDESCENT TYPE BULB. THE NEW BULB SOCKET IS CONNECTED TO THE SOCKET WITH PROPER MARINE TINNED 16/2 WIRE WITH CRIMP ON BUTT CONNECTORS AND OVER THAT IS HEAT SHRINK WIRE WRAP TUBING THAT HAS BEEN HEAT SEALED, SHOULD STAY DRY. FROM THE BASE THERE IS AN APROX 24 LEAD. IT MEASURES APROX 22 1/4″ TALL, THE BEEHIVE LENS IS THE LARGER APROX 2 1/2″ DIAMETER ONE. THE LAVENDER COLORED GLASS ON THIS REALLY SPARKLES, IT HAS VERTICAL RIDGES MOLDED INTO THE INSIDE OF THE GLOBE, MOST OF THESE ONLY HAVE THE HORIZONTAL RIDGES/RIBS ON THE OUTSIDE, THIS HAS BOTH (SEE PHOTOS). HE GLASS ON THIS HAS THE HARD TO COME BY PURPLE/VIOLET HUE FROM MANY YEARS BEING IN THE SUN, I FOUND THIS ONLINE ABOUT OLD PURPLE GLASS. I ALSO HAVE SOME BOW LIGHTS WITH THE LAVEDER GLASS IN SEPARATE LISTINGS. American glass manufactured between 1860 and 1915 was made with manganese, which imbued the glass with an interesting trait; the glass turned purple when submitted to prolonged exposure to UV rays. THE FLAG IS APROX 18″ X 13″ AND IS NEW WITH HEAVILY SEWN STRIPES AND EMBROIDERED STARS. THE HEAVY RING ABOVE THE BOTTOM FLAG ATTACHMENT SPLIT RING IS TO HELP KEEP THE BOTTOM OF THE FLAG FROM RISING, IT’S EASILY REMOVED IF YOU DON’T WANT IT. This listing is for a brand new set of 16 Bee Hive Valve Springs and 16 VITON valve seals (8 intake and 8 exhaust) and 16 LS pushrods to fit any of the following. While both Viton and other seals both serve as great sealing options at moderate temperatures, Viton is far superior to other seals for high temperature applications. Viton seals provide an indefinite seal for temperatures up to 400°F, and for temperatures up to 600°F they offer an excellent seal for more than 48 hours. Valve seals made of non-Viton materials, such as Poly, are only effective up to 250°F. These are brand new production seals. Viton has good flexibility like Nitrile, which means it can handle some runout between the valve stem and guide. It is also considered to be a more durable material than silicone. Viton also has better wear resistance than most other seal materials, making it a good choice for applications where long term durability is a must.
